Before you build in Dighi — what to check
- Parts of Dighi lie inside the restricted (red) zone around the Dighi Magazine Depot, where construction is heavily limited. Check your survey number against the zone before buying a plot or paying for drawings.
- Dighi is under PCMC. Building permission, completion certificate and water connection all go through PCMC, so the drawings must follow its rules from the start.
- On main roads, a commercial ground floor can add real value — but it changes parking and setback requirements. Decide early, before the design is fixed.
- If you are building rental floors, plan separate meters and a separate staircase entry at the design stage.
